Our Vision for Our Members

A question from new believers:
“Is it possible to be a Christian and not go to church?!”

But the church is not a building, but an assembly of believers. It is the “body of Christ” …. Can a body work if members are not present — the feet never come, the hands never work! No the family of God is one family, formed of several bodies — each body is a local church!
Should you join a local church, should you become a member?

Let’s clarify the main difference between attenders and members: Does membership really matter?! Well Yes!! You see attenders attend, and are really welcome …
members belong.
Attenders often help out (we’re grateful)…
members can be counted on to serve.

Attenders may come fairly often on Sunday …
members come whenever they can to Sundays, Thursdays and other church events.
Attenders are friends…
members are family.

Yes, membership does really matter
It’s joining; it’s committing; it’s staying.

1 Corinthians 12:12—26 — we all need each other.
Romans 12:4—8 — we all have spiritual gifts, to build the church.
Colossians 3:12—15 — unity of fellowship: unity of vision:
A great commitment to the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37-39) and the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20 grows a great church!

All's clear
